PAATAL BHAJI

Ingredients
Potatoes – 2 medium sized potatoes ,Green chillies – 4,Grated coconut – 2 tablespoons,A sprig of curry leaves ,Mustard – 1 teaspoon ,Salt to taste
Oil for tempering

Method
Boil and peel the potatoes and set aside. Mash the potatoes and add the grated coconut, salt and water. In a kadai, heat some oil and add the mustard. Once the mustard stops sputtering, add the green chillies and curry leaves and finally add the potato/coconut mixture. Boil well and simmer for a few minutes.

methi seed

methi is the best home made medicine for controlling sugar level in diabetes. soak 1/2 tea spoon of meth i seeds in 1 glass of drinking water in a copper vessel or in a vessel. drink the water and chew methi seeds next morning in empty stomach before having your first tea/coffe. doing this regularly it will help to control sugar level.
put kadai on fire and fry little methi seeds without oil and powder it. store in a dry place. if you want you can add salt,2-3 fried red chillies and powder. this powder can taste more with hot rice and ghee.
you can prepare some recipes with this powder for lunch ;-
1) put one kadai on fire. add little ghee in it and season with mustard, hing, karibevu, green chillies , then add little tamrin water, salt, little jaggery. when it start boiling add 1tea spoon powder and remove from fire. methi saru is ready which will serve as tasty and healthy.

2) put some beated curd in a vessel and add some powder to this. season this curd with mustard, hing, jeera, karibevu, in ghee. you can add raw finely chopped onions,cucumber(option). this can be good, tasty, healthy raitha in our lunch.
